Huntsville, AL - again - has been recognized by two major news publications for it's GREAT economy! U.S. News and World Report recently named Huntsville one of the top 10 places in the U.S. for jobs in the technology field. Business Week has also ranked Huntsville FOURTH in the nation as far as construction markets!
In the U.S. News Report, it stated that Huntsville "boasts the Nation's second largest tech and Research Park, Cummings Research Park". To view the complete U.S. News and World Report, CLICK HERE.
In it's report of the strongest construction markets, Business Week, who ranked Huntsville 4th in the Nation, notes that "Huntsville has one of the strongest economies in the country and that Huntsville saw building permits for apartments jump more than 400%. . ." These latest rankings are just two of MANY that this area has received lately! As most of you know from reading my past postings, Huntsville was ranked best city in the Nation for 2009 by Kipplinger's. Then, Madison was named second best place in the country to grow up by U.S. News and World Report; and finally, Forbes named Huntsville one of the top 5 places for a city recovering from the recession!
